Faceman
Did we get there is all about where we were going! well sort of. We left Owen Sound and met up with Bob Lisk on our "new" Bell Groomer. Carried on up to Cape Croker before we headed back. Day two we dropped at Ferndale and carried on up into the Bruce Pennisula National Park and down to the shores of Georgian Bay at Emmett Lake. By the time we had lunch etc it was 330pm and the Tub was still 30km away and the truck was 90 km back. So we turned around and wound our way back. Beauty trails, just tight and slow. Faceman
So. I'm wondering who will have the longer season, us or the Maple Leafs. Ours should be done by the weekend! We received about 6 inches of snow this weekend and it's still holding up today but the warm sun is starting to kill us.
Wildman
Long trip all the way up to the Tub eh? I'm sure u have done that ride before. Funny thing, it takes me about 9hrs to ride from home to the cottage (Little Eagle Harbour) and about the same time or more to ride to Owen Sound and back (from the cottage) It is a beautiful ride, but it takes a ton of time. Could u imagine grooming B108 from Miller Lake to the Tub? My head would be pounding.
guppy
We did that trip a couple of years back. rode a Thundercat that day, sled of choice would be a 1969 Skidoo Olympic, I think that was when the trail was cut through the cedar bush. A nice trip but long, for the miles put on. Pressed for time, rode trail 6 back.
