Smoker
Looking to rent a place for 5 people for Feb 26 - March 5 that we can cook in also (ie want a kitchen unit) and that would have a satillite TV also. We are sledders and want to explore this area and it's trails. Hoping not to pay over $800. Not looking for anything fancy. Also anyone have info on Barry's Bay Cottages and Resort. Plus are the trails good there and is the ice all safe ? Please advise with what's out there. Thanks Ron
canuckrider
Spectacle Lake lodge is not far from Barry's Bay, nice spot and they have cabins. http://www.spectaclelakelodge.com/ or a little further south on Benoir Lake; http://www.benoirbeach.com/winter/
revrnd
The Ashgrove just south of town has suites. Not sure if they are kitchenettes or not. Click

schmied
Thanks all. Now hoping we don't get a big melt. Too late. Just spoke to my sister in Combermere. She's scouted out the trails around her place, Barrys Bay and to Golden Lake. They were down to mud in the turns on Wednesday. With the warm temps and rain yet to come before Saturday, they will be done.

Glad I got one more ride in today, before everything went down hill :P
