Good place to stay?

Looking for a good place to stay between Orilla and Huntsville area thats close to trails and reasonably priced. Can anyone confirm how the trails are now in this area with some recent snow? Thanks for any info

We stayed at the pine Lodge Inn in Port Sydney a couple of weeks ago. Check my review in the Food & Lodging section. We were quite happy with it.

There is also the Sleep Inn Bracebridge. Nice distance between Orillia and Huntsville and it almost sits in the middle of the D trail.

The Marriot in Gravenhurst has also had good reviews here and has a sledders package.

Trails were in great conditions from Orillia thru Gravenhurst all this week. Also go east towards Hali and Dorset they were really good and not as much traffic as Huntsville and Bracebridge have. I would highly reccommend the Mariott in Gravenhurst right by trail on lake, beautiful place at a great price (check their website). Sleep Inn is very nice also and across from shopping mall and Beer store and a good restaurant.

Sleep Inn - no surprises. Right on the trail.
