capster59
Hhmm....Huntsville still not showing any trails open ,while neighbouring clubs to the East(Hill n Gully) South ( Bracebridge) and Northeast(highland) all have trails open and with Highland all fully open. Are there any unique issues why this is so?

Huntsville is always the last one. Even tho they groom and everyone runs the trails, they always open last. Especially the big swamp up the D trail. Yukon
Not to mention trail signage for risk management may not be complete, clubs physically every year are required to audit every sign in there trail system before the trails can be listed limited , if a club volunteer can't get through a swamp trails remain closed ! Once trails are signed , the club is required to have a A-01 form signed and sent to the District / OFSC . If that signing authority is not around ( Christmas vacation ) it may take a little while longer . It's protocol for MSR clubs to have signage and forms completed , and a full pass at least once with the groomer before trails can be listed as limited .
