Bark Biter
Hi all Does anyone know where we can drop trailers and trucks tomorrow morning and get right on the trails in Coldwater and area? We were gonna do Bancroft this weekend but that got cancelled on us.
Giddy UP
I'm not sure the trail conditions are much good in that area. The SMART Snowmobile Club cancelled their annual Valentines' Day ride (which was already post-poned from the last melt-down) - was supposed to be today - but cancelled due to trail conditions - you might consider heading further north? Your likely better off driving another 15 minutes up the 400 and dropping in Port Severn , Baxter Snow Riders groom C-Trail south to Coldwater , we still have a trail but their is more snow north from Port Severn . C-trail north from Port Severn to B105 where we end grooming and Smart club /MLSTA pick up is very good considering what the weather has been throwing at us . Heres a link to the BSR club forum with info on staging in Port Severn http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather_cams/CMON0039 Have a nice ride where ever you start ! If you go into Coldwater turn at the Shell go past the Legion and park at the back end of the Community center parking area;Use the overflow area to the right You'll see the trail coming in from that side.To go out towards the Baxter trails you'll head left behind the 'Center' blding and hook up on the B105C( rail line to Orillia) to the C trail at Anderson line. Not sure what the conditions are like.Haven't been on there yet this year. Oh and I have parked there for the day several times over the years and never had a problem. Kerry
