Weekends in March

Hi Guys, this lack of snow in D9 is getting to me.  Thinking of a trip towards N Bay or Sudbury during March Break with the kids.  Only trouble is, oldest is in college, and would miss out if we went through the week.  Do the trails slow down with idiots in March on the weekend, or is there still the traditional yahoos on the trail.

Also, anyone have some good recommendations for 5 people, me and 4 kids to stay at near the trail in either of those locations?  My wife would be staying home and doing chores in the barn, so it would be max. of me, 3 teenage boys and my teenage daughter.

Thanks for the link Crawdaddy, but if I go up there with 5 people, its gonna cost me $550-$600/night.  If I'm spending that much/ night, it wont be with the kids, it will be with the wife.  :D

Little bit north of North Bay, but maybe have a quick look at Temagami Shores.

They list a family suite. I stayed there many moons ago (not in the family suite though) and it was quite nice.

Torbay Cottages - North Bay - on Lake Nipissing (trail access through parking lot) and easy access to trails, gas, fast food and restaurants nearby:

Parking is a bit of a squeeze - usually vehicles go in separate lot next door.

Another possibility in North Bay- Glengarry Motel and Cottages:

I have not stayed here and at one point they did not take credit cards or have a web site, but have heard word about renovations and new management. If you go, please report back for revrnd's accomodation database.
