Turbo Doo
Just a warning to those traveling in the area. Coming from elk lake, once you are on the Montreal river, if your intention is to go north to Kenogami and Kirkland lake, make sure you veer right and follow the stake line, back towards elk lake wilderness resort and the eco lodge direction. This is the new section of the A trail. If you head towards the bridge and town center of elk lake the stake line only goes to the A 107 C and heads towards Gowganda. This is NOT what the ITG shows and how the trails previously ran.
ZR SLEDHEAD
Does the rail line still drop you off just outside town / to head North to KL you turn Rt instead of the normal Left?

Yes , rail line runs as per usual. Once your on the river, if your heading north to Kirkland lake, you veer right, back towards the direction you were coming from. If you head towards the bridge in elk lake, the stake line just runs towards where you get off to go towards gowganda. In years prior, the stake line running towards the left, under the bridge towards the gowganda way was the direction for both, but then veered 2 ways. The ITG SHOWS the old way, not the new way.
