I might need it again in the future, but right now, all my Vectors have PB-80 clutches and they require a different puller. What is advantage to pb 80 over stock clutch? sledjunk
The stock clutch on the 4 stroke triples is susceptible to a harmonic vibration from the engine and it becomes noisy. The repair is a couple of hundred bucks and is needed after about 4 - 6000 Km. The PB-80 is easily adjusted to tune engagement and is not affected by the harmonic. This harmonic is also present on the 'Doo 1200's and is the reason that there are many PB-80s on those as well.
