Is anyone planning on staying over Saturday night as well? My booking is for Thursday, Friday and possibly Saturday. Ash Grove and the Pinewood Motel are on the east end of the village within 1 km of town core. Our inn is about 1 km west of the core. I'd say about a five minute sled ride between them. Yellow Square is Shell gas on east end of town. Yellow Circle is Pinewood Inn Motel http://www.pinewoodinn.ca/ Blue Circle is Ash Grove Inn http://www.ashgroveinn.com/ Note the scale at the bottom of the image, indicating 200 metres. Based on the online reviews, both the Madawaska Valley Inn and the Ash Grove Inn are noted for serving good meals. The Ash Grove is open to the public as a restaurant. I will drive up tomorrow early evening, and stay Thursday and Friday night. I will update once I'm booked!!
