Claire Voyant
The TOP A near Moonbeam runs past the south end of Remi Lake and involves some road running, which is not so good right now. Take the short cut that the locals have packed across the south end of the lake and you'll avoid a few hundred yards of asphalt. Almost impossible to avoid the road going up the hill, but at the top, people have been riding along the right of way on south side of the road. Also, the L125 now also comes right to the east side of the lake and Moonbeam SC has staked a trail from there, to hook up with the L127 staked trail leading to the north end of the lake (and hooking back up with the TOP A). The lake itself is a big rough, and haven't seen any slush. Stick to the trail and you should be good. The Kap Sno-Rovers have posted a grooming schedule on their FB page, so looks like temps are going to keep trails open for a while yet.

Thanks for the detour info, hoping the roads hold out a bit more.
Claire Voyant
SJ and Denis007....will be out Sunday (have some commitments today)...if the snow on our road holds up. Have about 3 short blocks to the trail, but sometimes it sounds "expensive" getting there...LOL. If you are around (or back?) on Sunday, hope to run into you. We were thinking of running the L129 in Moonbeam aka "South Loops".
