Blake G
Friday February 28, 2014: Can anyone provide current running conditions for Lake Rosseau and/or Lake Joe? I am planning a run from Arthurlie Bay up to the Village of Rosseau. I may also want to cross from Arthurlie Bay to Minett and off at Hall's Road to Cumberland Bay and up to Gordon Bay Marina. Thank you for any current info.
J-Fly
It"s been two weeks but we had no problem from The Marriott (Minet) to Rosseau and also to Port Carling. No gas in Rosseau. There are plenty of tracks in every direction, best year in quite some time.
Blake G
Thank you, J-Fly. Last winter there was gas at Gordon Bay Marine. Any other stations fairly accessible from the two lakes?
Wildbill
Thank you, J-Fly. Last winter there was gas at Gordon Bay Marine. Any other stations fairly accessible from the two lakes? Gordon Bay has gas you can also get off at Foots bay and ditch bang to the trail to sunys in Mactier . I would choose Gordon Bay there is a portage trail from there to C trail and then north you could easily make a loop and come back down through Rosseau
Blake G
Thank you, Wildbill. I didn't know about the gas in Mactier. I saw some other posts about that portage trail earlier this season. Definitely a route to try real soon.
