Faceman Posted February 28, 2008 Share Posted February 28, 2008 Travelled from Markdale and into the Beaver Valley today. The west side of the valley was great but the B111 going up the east side was nasty. It's an old road that was suffering from a huge washout top to bottom, icy and totally eroded. It doesn't look to me as if it's seen a groomer since the beginning of time. We did pass the Markdale Klondike groomer on the west side (club trail south of B111) but I'm not sure if the B111 was his also. Trails all around Markdale/Durham were in great shape otherwise. We're leaving from home early Friday morning and riding north and not sure where we'll end up. Our first choice would be Owen Sound, any suggestions where to stay..
