Almaguin Highlands OPP says the 35 year old and the 61 year old from Armour Township were at their hunt camp on Friday evening when they went for a ride. Their sled got stuck and they both got wet trying to free it, with the situation becoming serious as the temperature was approaching minus 20. Police say the older man even lost his boots in the swamp. They used a cell phone to call for help and were eventually found by searchers that included OPP officers, EMS, and members of the Magnetawan and South River Volunteer Fire Departments. The younger man has since been treated and released from hospital, while the older man has been transferred to Sunnybrook Health Centre for further treatment.
