  1. You know, instead of always spouting about it, why the h--- don't you get involved and actually do something to help these situations!
  2. Each workday I pass a Mennonite farm that has 2 chicken barns. They also grow a lot of corn for silage. Their corn is always the tallest at any given time (after it becomes noticeable) that I see on any roadsides of the many that I travel. When I mentioned the tall corn to a reliable source in the AG industry, his first comment was "do they have chicken barns". When I replied yes, he said that chicken crap really makes corn grow well. We never talked about shavings.
  3. Wing ding this Saturday at the Waterloo Rod & Gun (Snowmobile club). 4PM to 8PM. Live Country music and great wings.
  4. Thought I might have a couple of bites left that I could share with LA but sadly I was wrong. Have fun at Vegas night. Bet on 7
  5. Wings were awesome but the kicker was a bake sale with homemade 3" thick Carrot Cake at a buck a big slice
  6. Wing Ding this Saturday from 4-8 PM. Trail installation starts at 8:30 Am tomorrow so if anyone wants to work up a hunger, be at the R&G by 8:30
  7. Schnitzel dinner with all the trimming and dessert this Saturday at Waterloo R&G. Not sure of price this year but last year was $12.00. Too much food! Beverages all afternoon with meal at 6PM Next Saturday the 21st is Wing Ding again.

  10. Wow, what a crowd at Wing Ding. They quit taking orders about 5:30 PM, ran out of wings. The place was packed and quite a few sledders as well. At one point the band had 3 parent/son combinations playing at the same time. Very cool. Love that 40 Creek sauce!
  11. Wings are $10.00 Bottle beer is $4.00+. Not sure about draft price. They won top place in a wing competition in Waterloo a couple of years ago. Try the 40 Creek sauce(smoky sweet). Wings are naked.
  12. Wing Ding this Saturday at the Rod & Gun. 4PM till 8PM with live music
  13. Just got home from the Wing Ding. Live Country Music, Excellent Wings and Liquid Refreshments the third Saturday of every month from Oct. to April. Tried the 40 Creek Whiskey sauce this time and it's a keeper. The trail goes right past the door so if you're in the area it starts at 4PM. It is near St. Jacobs and you can drive to it or sled to it.
  14. You lookin for some saddlebags Mossy? I got lots that i don't use anymore. Let me know if you need some. Was watching for you at wing night. Lots of people and awesome wings & fries.
  15. Mossy, the club address is 3100 Herrgott Rd.,St. Clements. Turn left at the main corner in St. Clements and the driveway is on the left about 1/2 a km. past the first sideroad. It's about a one hour drive from your place in good weather. Maybe we'll see you there. I usually go out about 5 PM and head home at about 6:30.
  16. Since your profile says St. Clements is your club, why aren't you out volunteering to help with the wing night(s) or anything else for that matter?
  17. WOW!! Very large turnout of unhappy sledders at wing night tonight. They sure do make good wings at St. Clements clubhouse.
