I figured we'd run to the east end of L119 maybe seeing you on the A.

Last day on the trails & still snowing. 187 klicks. Rode west towards Opaz on TOP A & then took the L123 back to Moonbeam. @Arctic JC we turned onto the L119 (east end) around 12 noon. Hope you guys had a good ride west. The Nursery Loop was a bit of a mess lots of sled traffic & lots of snow. Caught up to the groomer on the top of the L125. Top speed wasn't as good as the other day. A little snack on TOP A before heading back to Kap before loading up. Still a but blustery & Hwy 11 was wet. Trailer in the background is a couple that arrived Tues' afternoon. The following pics are on the L123 The little cabin that certain OC riders have said doesn't exist... Northeast corner of L125/Beardmore Loop. Looking west on TOP A @ L125 intersection. TOP A on the right L125 to the left Looking north to L125 Bridge on TOP A between L125 & L135 Back in Kap, getting ready to load the sleds. All in all a good trip, just wish we had some blue skies for better pics.

Not sure if I'd stick 1 on a friend's vehicle or sled. Might leave it under a wiper or stuck in the window rubber.

10-4! How many in your group? You'll likely notice my headlights are quite a bit brighter. I'm usually tagging along LOL

I like the Unwind I have, but I think their open face 1 would be perfect.

Lots of westbound traffic in the morning. When we were heading west ourselves didn't meet any sleds. Chatted w/ a couple of guys @ the Fauquier turnoff who had done a day ride out of Cochrane. Tomorrow's plan is to head west towards Opaz on TOP A, run L123 back to Moonbeam & then do L125 in the opposite direction. Then return to Kap and load up. More

Sharp looking sleds. I was in looking for a different Unwind balaclava, but out of stock of the style I was looking for.

A snowy but enjoyable ride today, 200 klicks on the dot. Looking east on the L125. A good run across it & down the east side... Stopped on the L111 This trail is now @irREVerent 'approved'. Top end of L111 (looking south) where we stopped for a snack. Snow drifts by Shackleton Lake @ the end of L303 Stopped on TOP A @ the L113 intersection. L135 groomed west of the ice crossing @irREVerent Kicking tires in Kap

I thought Travis Dhanraj & Colin D'Mello were unbiased because everything is negative in their worlds even before COVID...

We saw the construction on the way up. Quite an impressive building.

Not to think of the crowds there @ times.

It all comes down to rider preference. Reminds me of a co-worker that raced the Formula Ford class in the CASC series back in the 90s. He switched cars 1 practice w/ a driver that he usually ran 1-2 in qualifying. He took a few hot laps in it & found it undriveable.

We were wondering why the south end if L141 is closed.
-
You're thinking of the L135 west if Moonbeam. Oops already answered.

Stopped at the Moonbeam clubhouse today. Sign @ entrance say they are closed for the season.

Look past that!

One spot on the east side there were quite a few moose tracks. Bonus was the road section was snow covered (it usually sucks when I've been up here for the last ride of the season).
-
Probably 4" of fresh snow last night. We would had the L129/L131 section to ourselves but caught up to & finally passed a pair of ZX chassis Rene's by the 'crossed' intersection. They let us by then.

)(Fill in the blank) cold today -20* & warmed up to a balmy -18*. Rode out of Kap on L139 & L141. East to Moonbeam & a top up. Introduced @irREVerent to the Moonbeam loops on L129. Back across the highway & did the Nursery Loop (L119) before returning to Kap via L123 & L143. Some drifting by the fields south of Kap but not terrible. L141 north of the highway was probably the worst 157 klicks for the day
