Highway23
Just got back from a excellent 3 plus day trip from the great North. Wednesday our clan went to Whitestone Lake Resort. Tell you what, the ride was Excellent. Trails were in tip top shape. Going there we took Seguin to C101 up to 804-806-808-805 up to the resort. Fun lakes to play on. All lakes were staked and had fresh 6'' of the white stuff on them. Came back down C104D and that was bumpy and C101 back to the Seguin was hilly and fast. Thursday was trip down to Baysville. Played on the 80 series trails to D then 102B and 103B. Went to lunch at Wendigo and the food was awesome. Sad to here about 3 that lost their lives doing something that all of us enjoy! Just be careful and safe. Did 102B back to 101B and then home! Trails down in the Baysville area were AWESOME to say the least!! Friday's trip was eventful. Decided to head north to South River to one of our favorite places to eat-Moose Crossing! Philly steak and cheese is the ticket. The trails D-C105D had 8'' of fresh snow on them. Groomers hadn't been out in this area but trails were fun and scenery was great. Played around on the 300 series trails by Whiskey Jacks and back home. 470 miles for the trip and no major problems. Left Kearney at 8am today and the temp 19 below farenheit!! Only a few more trips planed and the season will be over for us! Remember to be safe first and have fun!! C ya on the trails!! Fred Quimby
Thanks for the pics and glad that you had a great trip. I came back last week from a week of sledding and the MSR trails were terrible. The system around Dorset was not groomed in over a week. What a mess. Nice to see that things were good where you rode.
