Golden Lake area trails

We have finally got a trail listed as limited, today I groomed the B 102 from Killaloe to Wilno and tomorrow we are grooming the B102/ B101A from Killaloe to Golden Lake. Golden Lake crossing will be staked this weekend, lots of ice but been too busy to get at it any earlier  Round Lake trail crossings are also staked but no trails are listed as open to there. The rail bed sections of the trail are in good shape but the ditches need more snow so take it easy out there.

Good to hear, any idea what the trails are like back towards Madawaska/Whitney and down towards Lk St Peter?

Thanks for your hard work :right_on:

Great news. Do you know about the B01a/B102 co complete the link between Golden lake and Top B? Noticed a lot of limited around that area now.:woot:

B101A north of Deacon is still closed, that section of trail goes through some very rough terrain and to get it open and decent we need about 2' of snow. The Bonn Trae club and SCSA spent another 19K on graveling sections of that trail this fall and we are getting the stones covered up but it still needs more work. The Timberline club from Pembroke has groomed out to within 12 km of Deacon from the north, but the last part is still rough.
