revrnd Posted January 31, 2010 Share Posted January 31, 2010 The snow cover was good on the trails yesterday, but there are a couple of hazards to watch for. I saw a couple of "ice mounds" on the trail where water had been seeping & froze. Also a lot of "ruts" where running water had cut into the snow. Take it easy & you should be OK.
