cookster Posted December 18, 2009 Share Posted December 18, 2009 any local info would be great as how are things shaping up, ice thickness, snow accumulations,any packing/grooming started. as me and my family go to our cottage for christmas/new years and we are wondering about dragging sleds along and the fishing on the lake is a bonus also. been watching weather and the cold is there i see. thanks for any info in advance and happy holidays. lillabellelodge Posted December 18, 2009 Share Posted December 18, 2009 We don't have much snow here yet maybe a foot. Polar Bear Riders are out packing and flooding the river crossings. We have about 12" of ice on most lakes and temps have been in the -20 range at night for about 2 weeks. Snow is in the long range forecast between Christmas & New Years.
