patonattack
I have a trip planed for the Minden this weekend how are the trails hold'n up with the rain?
Fred Quimby
Poor Minden stinks on a good day. From what I can tell...there has been very little rain yet, and not too warm. The HCSA needs to be grooming today/ tonight and then people need to stay the hell off the trails until Friday when it snaps cold again. If this happens the trails will survive. There is just shy of three feet of snow. The base is solid and lot's of frost in the ground, and deep. I am using the time off the trails to polish the tunnel on the 1200 GSX
Canuck
Heard today that sledder in Bala was told to 'stay off the trails'. Message is getting around. Stay off and trails will survive. Fortunately a mid week meltdown. Would hate for this to be a weekend, when more folks want to 'take to the trails'.

none
All Haliburton trails posted as CLOSED. Guys...stay off them until they re open them. Good advice Fred. Being a cottager and liking to ride doesn't mean you have to wreck the trails- just find a party and stay safe ! Bucko
