Ox Narrows Lodge Haliburton

Hope you all get a chance to visit the Ox when you are riding in HCSA and eastern Muskoka. Shirley, Derek, the Craigs and captain clune are excellent hosts and truely sled friendly. They take a keen intrest in the sledding in the area, so much so that Derek often brushes trails and organizes non-volenteers (city folk like myself) to help the local club. And they even ride themselves!

The food is great.

Of note is the prime rib, philly cheese steak sandwich and chicken wings. Great deal on sledders accoms as well. Bravo to Craig A and B the cooks.

Jammin with Lou Moore ROCKS!

Come on folks support the place that supports our sport.

Ox Narrows is now first on my list, and I'll visit it when sledding in the region.

Halibrton has a wide variety of riding . Everything from an extensive lake system to avery scenic trail system and icluding a private sledding reserve to which there is no equal. The antique but well kept lodge is a jewel and oozes history as well as from all reports great food . You could not ask for better highway access hwy 35 is about 100 feet infront of the lodge .
