Several years ago there was a fatality on TOP E west of Coe Hill when a sledder hit a logging truck. I seem to remember a column from Slomo's favourite sledder. He did have some valid points if you have to ride on a haul rode. Slow down, stay on the right more less hugging the snow bank and stand up (if possible) when approaching hills. Gives you a better sight line and makes yourself visible, sooner to any approaching drivers. It was good that the Polar Bear Riders were able to get TOP A over off an access road west of Cochrane. I know SJ, irREVerent & I were on a plowed portion of L103 in 2018 when we saw the lynx.
