pt3189 Posted January 6, 2017 Share Posted January 6, 2017 Rode from Gunter and was headed to Green Trails North of Bancroft. Beginning just a few kms South of Bancroft it appears an ice storm has demolished the area recently. Got progressively worse North of Bancroft to the point of several downed trees. Forced to turn around. I feel for the volunteers that had prepped and began grooming already. These trails are yellow at best and unsafe in the dark. Had a couple of groups of " stand up riders " blow on by us with their back packs flapping in the wind. The area is gonna need a good warm spell and a lot of help.
