MXZOntario Posted March 27, 2008 Share Posted March 27, 2008 Was on lake joe last weekend (saw all the trucks)-- ran back and forth a couple times from foots bay to gordon bay-- was solid running. However, true what's said above, not much snow to lube/cool. My friend's sled kept overheating. The ruts weren't too bad-- had to keep moderate speed. Not sure how it's held up this week though. WeBeSleddin Posted March 27, 2008 Share Posted March 27, 2008 I was out on Gull lake and Kahshe yesterday in a freakin blizzard. Snow started ar0und 10am and didnt stop until night. Had to be a fresh 6-12 inches depending on where you were. I hope Snowcrest and the Msr get the groomers out again. Lakes all seemed really solid, pretty sure people will be running them this weekend with a little more lube. Looks like we will be sleddin into April.
