We left 3 Bears in Shining Tree at 9:00 this morning after Kelly fixed us some bacon and eggs. Thanks Kelly.. Shining Tree got 4" of snow last night and the trails were just awesome heading towards Timmons.

We did not see a sled on the trails until just south of Timmins. That's 170 miles of wide oped trails with 4" of new snow. How do you get it any better?

We stopped in Timmins for fuel and a bite to eat and decided to head further north to Kapuskasing. Just north of Timmins we hit rain, yea that's right RAIN. It wasn't real heavy but non the less we were sleddin on the snow while it was raining. The rain lasted for 15 min and we made it up to the A trail in Smooth Rock. We then headed west into Kapuskasing and you can tell this town is about snowmobilers. Heck even McDonalds has a sign on the trail a mile befofe town along with many others. It's nice to know what a town has to offer before you even arrive there. Anyway we logged on another 271 miles and no mishaps today. Speedys right where he belongs, in the rear.

Any chance you guys will still be riding somewhere on Wed? There's a good chance I may end up in Kap that afternoon / evening.

No, we will finish our trip back at Echo Bay on Sunday. Sorry we couldn't hook up but maybe next time. We left Kap at 9:00 this morn and are eating some pie here in Hearst. The trails from Kap to here are just plain awesome. Like 6 lanes wide and freshly groomed both ways. This trip just keeps getting better. Heading down to Hornepayne in a few. Have fun on Wed. I'll be back home at work.
