ktmkirby
I have a small window of opportunity to go sledding this weekend in Dorset. I notice some trails are reverting back to red on the OFSC map. If anyone from the Dorset area can chime in, how are the conditions up there? What do you think the rain is going to do to the trails? Should I go ahead and book the cabin?
Fred Quimby
Can't say for sure about Dorset..but Haliburton took a beating this past weekend and we don't have much snow to begin with. We did get about 6" yesterday but if we get the rain and 11 degree temps tomorrow, it will be a hard recovery..again.

Fred Quimby
Well..to be honest..we have faired well so far. Only a little rain as of 8:30. I would check in Thursday after this warm/ rain passes. They have more snow up there as they sit a lot higher than the rest of the area...probably have 4-6" more snow there. Doogirl69
Was good from Dorset north. They will be the best conditions after the rain. Haliburton sucked, Lake of Bays was awesome, Hill and Gully trails were great, Algonquin Club trails were great too, Huntsville not so good.
