Rode from fenelon to Hali today .. from superior lot is fine. Going into Fenelon is icey under the snow.

Lots of snow as you head north. And the lake in Hali just got staked too.
Hali club just posted that they are releasing some big news for tomorrow, to check the interactive guide out. Well see what that means.

Considering that Friday and Saturday are bringing into the area +75 mm of rain, id say everything will be gone by sat afternoon.

Been checking HCSA web site and haven't seen any updates yet.

That rail trail is in terrible condition lol, just kidding, it’s actually in amazing shape, but we’d rather keep it all to ourselves

Do you think it might open south to Fenelon Falls anytime soon.

Imo I think if I lent a sled out and the persons smashed it up or busted something I would expect them to pay for it.  If buddy was crusing and it blew a piston it would of happened to me so thats out of mine and his hands.  Btw I dont let people use my stuff so....

I also do not like borrowing things from people for this exact reason.  Typically if I need something I will buy it. ie. tools etc.

I agree with you. If you smash it, you pay damages. Wouldn't hold him responsible if it blew up. Would have probably  happened anyway.

A friend was telling me that locals have been riding Kinmount area trails for awhile now.

The rail trail is yellow from Kinmount to Haliburton. Was open from Fenelon Falls to Haliburton before Christmas.

I bought a trail permit for my DOO this year.  Ended up selling the sled before the permit showed up in the mail.  Now I have a Polaris.  I assume I can transfer it to the new sled?

You can  transfer it to your new sled. Go to OFSC website. Go to permits and scroll down to permit transfers and elegibility and follow instructions.

  6. Been volunteering with the Port Perry club for last three years. Been brushing trails. Spent two days replacing small bridge. Took chainsaw safety course. Retiring next week, so will be able to help more in future years.

I'm with Snowman on this one.  I bought a brand new 2015 Stealth trailer and will never buy one again.  All of the LED lights have now been replaced, frame is rotting out, aluminum side panels have corroded right through, etc.  Absolute POS.  I bought it all on looks and custom ordered it from the factory.  Wish I never sold my Car Mate.

I guess i should take the Stealth off of list. Thanks.

I have a Stealth 16' V aluminum, and  all i can say it has been the worst trailer i have every owned, and i own about 8 trailers currently and many in the past.    From the start there was some poor welding on the frame and some holes burnt through it, and i had to fix that before safety.    second, all the spring shackle hangers were cold welded to the frame angle iron and one had let go on me in on route.  i had to completely rebuild this part of the trailer (cut off and re weld on new heavier duty brackets.)   in the first year i just about broke every spring on the damn thing, so i have up'd the weights on the springs.   The whole trailer had to be rewired just after the first year as there were many loose dangling connections behind the plywood that was shorting out.  There was much much more, but i would have to write too much....i would suggest doing a quick google search on Stealth trailers and read the google reviews.  if i remember they also have a facebook aimed at stealths bad workmanship.   and you will see many of the problems that i faced with this piece of Sh$t.   I now have it in good running condition, but had to rebuild the whole dam thing.   I bought it from Miska trailers, and they would not do a damn thing.   only trailer i had bought from them and last.

    Thanks for the info.

  9. Hello. Does anyone own or have an opinion on a Stealth Glacier 7×16 inline trailer. Seems comparable to the Pro Starr inline. I like the extra 6" intetior height and smooth roof panels. It also has two gas doors. Thanks for any info.

I picked up an 11’ Hybrid from Custom Carts in Trenton last December.
Came to roughly $6,000 after taxes.
Its all aluminum and all LED lights. Side door and front hatch access door. It is a very simple trailer but it does get 2 sleds from point A to point B very easily.
I believe they have a 12’ model aswell but can’t remember.

I see you never did get an answer to your question.

I'm in the same boat looking for a 12' hybrid under $6K. Choices so far are Prostarr, Excalibur, or Mission. I would of liked to get another Tritan, but they are too pricey. Presently leaning towards the Mission, abt $5500 and can be sourced locally.

I will probably wait and see what deals can be had at Sledarama.

Looked at the Prostarr and excalibur at Toronto show. I like the prostarr. Seems to be a stronger frame. Then i looked at the prostarr 7'× 16' inline trailer. Alot better for towing and better visibility. Haven't decided yet. Also going to Sledarama. No deals on trailers at show. Best they offered was a free spare tire. Same deals online.
