From when I filled it my application a couple of years ago, you are really just telling them about yourself, sharing the social media sites you belong to and your passion for the sport and Polaris of course. I have met several of the Ambassadors and they are all great people with strong ties to the brand. I see other another OEM has followed suit. If you think about the brand ambassador idea is a marketing genius having people at the grassroots level promoting the brand, whether it is sleds, powersports, clothing, etc.

I agree Nunz. Good marketing plan in my eyes..

I was going to ask what is the criteria for this to happen.....

We all know Nunz is, but it is obvious that he is a little crazy over the Poo-Poo :)

I recall reading about using a sealed relay vs. the one from the factory to prevent this.......but based on the OC consensus, it appears this issue does not happen much if at all.

I am sure one of those things that gets blown up in the interwebs......anything possibly bad, gets blown way out of proportion.

I think you are correct Stoney. The web has a taken an issue that has happened a few times and has blown it up .It doesn't matter which brand has a problem the haters are going to jump all over the issue and post the issue any where they can and slag the brand they hate.

  4. I have the hand guard mirrors and find that they do not work for me. If your a big guy all you mainly see is your forearms.I put these on cause i have been told you need mirrors in Quebec and they need to be fastened to the sled. I still prefer my left hand glove mirror as mentioned above.

Wasn't going to trade till next season, but my dealer offered me a lot for my 2020 Grand Touring LTD 900T, and dropped $1k off MSRP for the new one.  Ordered a 2022 Renegade X 900R T, yellow/black, adjustment kit, 1.25" Ice Ripper XT, and standard gauge.  I was able to save a few accessories off of the 2020, so I ordered the 1+1 seat/heated grips, heated visor plug, LinQ SR21 Tunnel Bag, LinQ Cargo Modular Box, Tunnel Ice Scratchers and a cover.

The X comes with the low windshield, I ordered the medium windshield kit that comes with the deflectors, but I'm not sure about it as I want to add mirrors, either windshield mounted or handguard mounted.  It makes for a busy cockpit with the handguards.  I'd like to stay with the low windshield (or mount the medium without the deflectors?), anyone have any experience with the G4 X package windshields?

I always said the same thing, I was at Daytona bike week and I did take my helmet, I never did put it on, felt real weird at  first, and I was comfortable around town and what not, and it is a different kind of surroundings that week. People are very aware, there are still crashes but not near what you would think with as many people as there are there. I did get out on my own 1 day and I was just riding twisty 2 lanes, realized I was close to Ocala and got to thinking I should go over n check out Don Garlits place, so I get out on 75 and I will tell you, that will never happen again without a helmet. I did bike week in Arizona and wore a helmet everywhere I rode. As a general rule, I would pretty much wear a helmet even when there is no law saying so, especially in Michigan, even if the drivers weren't crazy the roads are junk, lol

I would like to go to Daytona one day. But i would probably still wear a helmet. I only wear a "half" helmet so not a lot of protection as it is,but i always wear a jacket of some type and gloves no matter what the temperature is outside.

I would have no issue with helmet freedom of choice only if the user has signed off, agreeing to personally pay all medical expenses from head injuries caused due to not wearing a helmet.

IMHO our health system should not have to cover the cost of same.

    Well said....I agree...
