'Culverts' for TOP C @ the lower right?

Really cool seeing this,  great to see the culverts, and 2 sleds heading south at 1:50.  Don't get up that way ever but did two trips 2 and  3 years ago.   Did see all the land clearing at that time.

Wondering if it's possible to ride West of Marathon towards Thunder Bay. I know there were trails there at some point - I assume they folded with the recession. We've been riding in Ontario the past 4-5 years - really enjoy exploring up there.

Hey  there  Glad to hear you enjoy riding Ontario trails.  Just a quick note, not sure if you want to ride now, but our borders are closed for non essential travel.   Always next year   Be safe and stay healthy

Off topic but I find it funny that different areas of Ontario have different dialect. In northern Ontario they are pickets and in our area we call them stakes.

And sometimes we call them sticks.  At least around this part of the township.  :rotflmao:

Actually - this subject has come up in recent history on a machine shop site, and running a motor bass akwards roots at least back to the 40's in 4 stroke submarines.

They had to stop the motor and switch to a second set of overhead valvetrain, and restart.

These would have been diesel, so not spark editing, but they likely did edit the pump timing a bit?

I don't know if/where it was ever used on a 2 stroke before tho, but that is the obvious reason for the end of rotary valving on Doo's.

So talkin about running engines backward    There is a story about Richard Petty's engine ran backwards at Daytona  way way back in the day    His BIL was crew chief   Back in the 70's   was deemed cheating but.... must have made a difference

  7. Star Tron Enzyme Fuel treatment on sale at TSC  40 % off    Use that when stabilizing ethanal gas    Or  am I drinking the kool aid ??   Stand down red alert. Was last week's flyer.  Oh well no sense of leaving the house now

  8. I agree to do everything that is recommended but try to carry on with some sort of activities. My huge concern is I sure as hell don't want to be needing to go to the hospital with an injury. Chainsaw work can wait and driving is at a minimum except North Bay to get our daughter from university now. Gonna be a windy ride tomorrow
