What ever. You will just keep going on anyway.
If you talking about sultan road. You likley could not handle it anyway.
Sorry I commented on your wisdom..

If you look at map and take Shepard moose road when you hit it. C101D makes a sharp turn there. The road is un plowed most of the way goes right by moose horn lodge. Road is only plowed for 2 km’s from moose horn to main highway. I rode it fourth week of March and plowed section still had lots of snow on it. Saves about 18 km’s and 20 or so mins off your day. The road is pretty quick and there is always a highway of trucks down the middle. Once you hit end of road the main trail is right there. Great short cut. Moose horn lodge has cleared the hydro line so you can ride that if road is bad.
Why not just stay on the trail.
Avoid any issues with traffic and sleds.
The trail is there and groomed to use.
Been trying for years to keep trails off roads....
Your choice.. I think it's a real dumb one. But you have at it..

I'm pretty sure it was a farmers' 4X4 tractor equipped with experimental snow tires pulling the drag Rich and I'm guessing it was the tractor's owner (Groomer Graham) operating it likely on his own fields or those of a close neighbour. I don't think the tires would work well in the mud as the tread reminds me of the Michelin's that used to be used on plow trucks. They got across 3 fields and almost got stuck twice before they buried it. Another tractor was used to help get it out. Volunteer 2 might know more.
Sure is a lot of chicken crap getting spread around here lately!
Some body had to ask. So I took one for the team....
Should we boycott chicken?????

Google enclosed/concept snowmobile & you get a lot of hits for it. Nobody remember the yellow 'doo I'm thinking of? I'm sure it had a similar track drive set up & a single ski up front.
I had a number of alpine,s with single ski.
Not as user friendly as what you posted..

Might be good in theory, but I've seen news items where people/businesses have been fined for performing unauthorized work on Crown land.
If not a fine I imagine the MNR could put a club thru the wringer during future permitting processes.
I know... sat at table a few Times with the beaver police over trail improvements..
Just saying...

The old saying goes
Ask for forgiveness and forget about permission...
Might be the only way to get it done in the next couple weeks...

I saw a beautiful log house with a slick looking off grid system consisting of solar and wind turbines in Cochrane. At the price they were asking I would be mortgage free and figure you could get some supplemental income from sledders. Wife put a damper on that real quick!
Some women need a better sense of adventure..
I cant complain but still looking at the next venture...
