There is One Top Secret restaurant close by, that we will be visiting if we are allowed  in the NCDN this winter. Some OC Members know about it. I will not share this info publicly.  Its top secret information..8-):evil2:...

I may have a few more updates after this weekend on a few places in the NCDN, if that tells you anything..

    Road trip.???

That would work too only flaw is you will have water mixed with antifreeze, deluting it. Unless you test final solution to ensure it is adequate still. Then can adjust ratio and re run engine.

Drain the water from the block. Manifolds.  Etc... stick to pressure washers.. you might  be  over your head...

I don't know where you get your information but the OFSC messaged me that it would be "closer to the end of October" when the ITG will be available.

His info seems to be made as needed??

Bottom line is they might not want us on thier property this winter. Be hard to approach other land owners too, with this Covid going around to re route closed sections. Going to be tougher then normal no doubt.

I have never In a number of years as land owner negotiation rep never had any one that wanted a trail on there property.

Was just a lot of butt kissing.to keep a trail..

If you think covid will affect trail permission from a land owner  you need get pull your head out of your ass...

As far as the initial topic is concerned, I think sledding may be very different this year.  Are restaurants really going to want our dripping helmets, gloves and, eww, balaclavas draped on their surfaces.  Sometimes, it is hard enough to get a cleaned table and now they will have a lot more surfaces to disinfect.  Plus, with social distancing rules, there will be fewer tables available.

As SF mentioned, what will the rules for hotels / motels be with regard to cleaning after each guest?  Probably a lot more stringent than in the past.

Wouldn't surprise me if saddle bagging is not possible this year.

Sad to think this could happen.   But I'm sure it will be a different  winter compared to past regarding travel by sled...

I am heading to Lake St. Peter on Thursday.  Hoping the trails will hold up for one last weekend.  The optimistic side of me thinks that the trails have enough snow to hold up, but the sections that run along the road will be tough...

You will be fine this weekend.

Groomers where out yesterday doing what they could.

    Road side runs are poor.

Another week of plus temps will have the water running everywhere..

There is some attitude there between bar and dinning room employees no doubt. Last time, I was there they were rude about me and my dad sitting and having a drink at bar and ordering food. They tried telling us bar is only for snack food and drinks, not dinner. Regular dinning room not licensed. In past there was never this issue there. Service was slow too, since they were trying to prove a point. Breakfast was good in regular dining room, no issue. Not sure if this is an one off experience or others have had a similar experience.

You sure you where at the same place???

Your story doesn't seem to add up.

  8. D was great until we got to the end of bonfeild grooming.

    Complete crap after that.

We did more road running than trail and looked forward to the road due to trail conditions.

This weekend warm temps will be the end of the d trail..

What was yellow should have been closed..

But I am a little fussy...

    Great report, Nunz.

Started a 5 day RAP Tour in Huntsville at irREVerent's with irREVerent and a friend from New York.  Day 1 took us to Dinner Bell in Bonfield.  Trails varied between 5 and 8 on a scale of 10.  The fresh snow was a nice touch and a lifesaver on the looong road running stretches.  Off to Deep River tomorrow where we'll spend an extra day in the Missing Link and NRSA area.

Where are you in deep river.

Leaving house tomorrow morning for bears den . Its tomorrow nights stop for us.

What about the power corridor north of Timmins that TOP C runs on. Is it Crown Land or owned by Hydro 1/OPG?

Dont try to help.  If that loop to the canyon is the only issue they have.

    Good

At least it didn't close a touring loop..

Lots of this province to see with out that.

To bad if it stays closed but a lot of bigger irons in the fire..
