Today I see every station is back up to $1.45…..lol
I have accepted that the new normal is $1.50/ so let’s just set it and forget it already.
Just got some for 1.41.3 at King & Ottawa. Up 2 cents since yesterday.

7 looks similar to my '72 Olympic 335, but this one appears to maybe be a slight,y diff hood?
Maybe slightly newer year?
15 is a mid 70's Deere. I'm gunna say a model 400, which would be a 340cc maybe?
You are right about 15 Ox. When I zoom in you can see the Deere logo on the side of the hood top rear. Thanks.

I think #4 is an Arlberg.
That's a brand that I have never heard of before. Thanks for your input.

This was an image I found online. There were several manu's who put the headlight out front like that but the beltline made me think AMF/Skidaddler.
Beltline and the one on the sea can also appears to have the small hood scoop. I'll go with your guess.
Do you think the one you can't see well due to the tree might be an Arctic Cat? On my laptop I can enlarge the pic and think that might be what it is.

So far thanks to Blackstar & Crispy we have the following guesses:
#1 Rupp
#2 Motoski.
#3 Boa-ski maybe?
#4 Arlberg
#5 Snow-Hawk
#6 SnoCruiser
#7 Skidoo/ Olympic
#8 Massey Ferguson/ Ski Whiz
#9 Skidaddler/AMF
#10 Mercury
#11 Motoski
#12
#13Arctic Cat??
#14 Evinrude
#15 John Deere
#16Polaris
#17Sno Jet
#18 Bolens/Diablo Rouge
Anybody see a Cat in that lineup? If these are what he parks outside, I wonder what's in the sea cans.

Since we likely won't be out riding this week, lets see if we can use our time to identify the brand and possibly model of the 18 sleds visible in the bottom picture starting with number 1 on the left side.

There's a whole bunch of yellow trails in the Mt. Valins area of Quebec this morning. The green area around Devil's mountain has gotten a lot smaller however.

Yes, likely an error 😃
Possibly but that little patch of green showed up about noon on Friday I believe. Also, I had read a statement earlier regarding the lake crossing warning shown on map near Ferme Neuve. This is the Devil's Mountain area and as scottyr mentioned it is a higher elevation area so would likely get any early snow .

If you can believe Weather Network, Cochrane 14 day forecast shows total maximum guesstimate snowfall of 14 cm.
-
Ironically, according to Windy snow depths, the Halfway Haven area D trail has the most snow of any trails in Ontario with about 20 cm. or 8 inches if you can believe Windy.

Never have named any of them personally.
An old buddy has a 1997 XC 700 wedge - first year of that new motor - we still call it "white lightning".
They were awesome sleds. Ditchbangers for sure. Light and fast. I took a flying lesson on one off the top of a hill on the gasline north of N.Bay when it was nearly new. Hard lesson LOL

Then can select Trail Conditions to see what’s open.
On my laptop the open trail colouring(s) show when the map opens without clicking on the snowflake.

I see the big railbed (Quebec 93) from Desmaraisville past Chapais and almost to Chibougamau is officially open.

There was a writ in one of the magazines very recently about a trip that they took to the Kenora District.
Sounded like a good trip.
.
Rich Saul did a trip last year from west of T.Bay and posted about it on this forum somewhere but I believe they were told to avoid the local trails around Kenora.

Always put your most capable on clean-up as no-one's coming back to help them.
The second to the last guy never looks back anyhow.
.
Not in our group Ox. We have always made sure we keep an eye behind. Most distance back to find the guy(s) behind is normally no more than a couple of miles .

I remember someone on here saying due to ofsc insurance regulations or something like that that you wont see any open trails until after December 1 if they are even ready by then!
I sure that I was told a few years ago that groomers are not to start grooming snow until Dec.1 but I'm old with a bad memory so..... I guess if that is correct, they could at least start packing without the drag before that.

Discussed many times on this and other forums. A number of guys have tried to figure out a route but I have never seen anything in print about it being completed. Seems like hiring someone with a trailer to get you from Geraldton to west of Thunder Bay is the best bet.

At td they mostly go by price. I am only insured for 12 k now. don’t seem to matter what’s under hood 😆
Is there a max price td wont touch now? Use to be not sure if they got rid of that cap or not?
So do you think the approx. $8000.00 price difference would help justify the higher premium if not the risk?

That’s seems high I am slightly below that for just a regular 900 with collision.
Lucky it’s not 2002 and once they hear name Mach, viper, wouldn’t ensure it. 🤦♂️.Your "regular" 900 is what 100 hp? 180 hp. would make a difference I believe from a risk standpoint.

The ad is from a legitimate trailer manufacturer as mentioned in the text if you read it. While not a large operation, I'm guessing the slow down in the economy may have hurt their sales and he's looking to free up some capital.
