Shivesy Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Were leaving Georgia on this Friday (2-15) evening and plan on crossing the border into the Soo this Saturday evening. I need three (1-week) trail permits. Any suggestions on where I can pick up my permits late on Sat. eve or Sun. morning? I wanted to make this trip at Christmas but the weather didn't permit it. So we decided to give it a try during our sons school break. Plan on sledding for 6 days. We would like to loop from the Soo to Halfway Haven,Wawa, Drubreilville,Hornepayne,Hearst,Cochrane, Timmins, Chapleau and back to the Soo. I've been reading recent post from others who have started in Hayden. I've done a Map Quest search and couldn't pull it up. Where's Hayden at cause we might start from there? Might even start @ Searchmont and would like to get some rooms at either place but right now I need some trail permits. Any help appreciated.
