The community of Geraldton is adrift in a new record high snowfall for the month of December wiping out it's previous record for the amount of snowfall received by a whopping 10 inches.

According to Environment Canada, Geraldton received 99.3 centimeters of snowfall in the final month of 2007 which is 24 cm more than usual. The previous record was set in 1992 when 75.4 centimetres of snow blanketed the town. That total was eclipsed last month by 23.9 centimetres. (TB Source)
