marximuus
100% open and without the rough farm fields of years past due the 80+ cm of snow we received over a two day span a few weeks back. Rode for 5 hours tonight, looks like I'll have 1000Km on the sled before Christmas this year.

I am hoping I can from my street. I live off of King St, close to Industrial Parkway! Please help. If anyone is up for a ride, let me know! Your best way to the trails from King St South is to ditch bang along Industrial Parkway and around the Honda plants, cut across Albert st road allowance over to and through the cemetary to Victoria St. This brings you right out at the Husky station at the corner of Victoria and 3rd line, if you head north up the 3rd you will hit trial 424 at the train tracks. With the exception of the first part of the 3rd line there is very little scratching to do taking this route. PM me if you need more directions on this route or the area. monte1214
- Where's a good spot for a few trucks and trailers to stage from? - What about Cookstown?? - Which is easier? - Coming from 400.

There are a few big parking lots right around the Cookstown trail but I'm not ceratin if stagin from them is frowned upon. I have seen people stage on the back streets around the trail in Cookstown. No great staging area right in Alliston in my opinion. Use Cookstown to get you on the trail sooner.

marximuus
Probably Wellington would be better on the north side of 89 as it is a dead end street (stops right at the plaza you see on Google Earth) and has some room where there are no houses at the end. That is where I have seen people park.
