F north of Elliot Lake was groomed and in good shape until you get to the upper "fisherman’s parking" then you have 10 miles of logging road, after that it was packed but ungroomed to Black Creek. If you have a full tank of gas in Elliot Lake F to Aubrey Fall (gas up) north to Flame Lake (call ahead to make sure they are open with food and gas) good stop for lunch and gas, then up to Chapleau. I don't know how the trail is North of Aubrey Falls; I heard it was packed and probably groomed. FYI...I would call ahead to Aubrey and Flame Lake, the lack of traffic this year many places are not open all week...
