revrnd Posted February 2, 2010 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Well I think Mazinaw should be nominated for some kind of award after seeing all the brushing that they've had to do since the ice storm on Boxing Day. Here goes, 1009 from E101 to TOP E is in good shape. It was groomed today. TOP E from 1009 to E102 was also groomed. 1002 is open, but could do w/ some snow, lots of icy spots from the Mallory Lake area south. E101 from 1009 to Cloyne is hit or miss. Some good stretches & some spots that could do w/ some snow. Be careful on the hills on either side of the lookout. A fair bit of ice. Finally has E101 been rerouted south of Cloyne? The reason I ask is that the trail is closed east of Hwy 41 @ the powerlines. Instead, the E101 signs are on what is shown on the map as 1009. I only rode as far south as Hunt Road.
