Brander Posted March 21, 2009 Share Posted March 21, 2009 Got here this morning and it seems to be worth the long drive. Lots of snow up here although hard packed and bare on the roads. Trails are hard and fast with very little softening in the afternoon sun. I came upon a few icy patches but nothing to complain about. If your gonna make the trip up here and temps stay cold i suggest installing some scratchers to lube up your sliders. I almost melted my sliders right off this morning trying to open it up on a long flat stretch. I tried to buy a set of scratchers at one of the dealers up here and they are on back order (of course). So spinning my track down into the snow off the trail was my only option to lube up the sliders. Alot of sleds up here for the weekend but trail traffic doesnt seem to bad.
