Thanks.  Officially it is ours, but I have just received word that Whitecourt Alberta is going to submit after all.  However, by their own admission not all went as planned as apparently there were some logging trucks that interupted their attempt.  Guiness gave very specific rules about distance between snowmobiles and this would have caused a major disruption.  


It is up to Guiness to decide, if indeed they do apply.  It took a few months for us to hear back, so I suspect it will be ahwile before they hear as well.


Regardless of what happened it was an amazing day.  Fun for all, and the record if broken will still be a Canadian one, and as I said our club officially held it, even if it is only for a short time.
