Klotz Lake Camp Posted February 24, 2008 Share Posted February 24, 2008 In District 16, NOSSA states the trail between Jellicoe and Beardmore is temporarily closed. Be advised it is now open and in great shape (signage issues caused closing). NOSSA will likely update tomorrow, but anyone needing info now will know. macpat Posted February 24, 2008 Share Posted February 24, 2008 Finished putting up all the signage along that route. Took me and my dad all day Saturday. The trail is freshly groomed and in excellent shape. The NOSSA/OFSC sites should be updated tomorrow once they look over the paperwork but it should be change to open status. NOTE: Be careful riding just east (about 0.3 km) of Moose Mountain. There is a few holes in the middle of the trail (3-5 deep) where what looks to be like an old bridge was. The wood is breaking and the holes are getting larger. I put two orange reflective posts marking the holes. Snowmobilers can easily go around this spot as it is on the pipeline, just use caution and watch for the orange reflective posts and there should be no problems.
