Fred Quimby Posted December 30, 2012 Share Posted December 30, 2012 Due to a revocation of a LUP, we had to re-route part of the trail that runs through Minden, specifically where it runs after where you cross the floating bridge, and where it runs behind Peir's BBQ restaurant and comes out at McKay Street and then crosses Bobcaygeon Rd. Incidentally Pier's BBQ is right on the trail and would make an excellent lunch if you want something fast. Pulled pork, sausage on a bun, BBQ chicken dinners..soups all grilled...no frying. Although the re route is not long it was the last thing we needed to do today... A BIG thanks to the property owner on McKay street who gave us permission to access his land! Many small face whackers had to be cut and removed here A lot of trimming and four or five medium trees had to be cut, and hauled out Just enough clearance for the groomer We need more snow!
