Crossed on Saturday afternoon - Moore Point to Midland, no stake like. Deep snow and from time to time hittlng slush; nothing really heavy. Others took the stake line from Beausoleil to Midland and it was fairly hard packed. Yesterday took the C trail bypass across Midland Harbour to Henry's. Ugly. Very wet, and deep even on the stake line. Not a chance we were going to go back up the line to the Island. Too far in those conditions. A couple of nights of cold will tighten it back up.
