  1. Thinking about heading up this weekend, looks like they got good snow again today. Since I started riding 3 years ago, I don't even think many of the trails were even open much so I have never been up that way. Any suggestions on the best routes/areas to avoid?

  2. Looking to ride from Orillia to Midland, any good areas to park and stage out of Orillia I am coming up Hwy 12 so I see the 207 to Brechin is yellow. Anywhere around Lake Couch??

    Thanks

  3. Rode 220km from Marmora past Bancroft, trails were great we hit the trail at 8am by 11 the traffic was getting a bit crazy. Had some AHole coming south at Coe Hill doing like 60mph right on my side it was a bit too close for comfort. Other than that a great day Had my daughter with me she had a blast. The parking spot attached is a great area to stage.

  4. Yeah I drove around looking at places to unload and I saw that, it is small for sure maybe 3-4 rigs at best. Still debating where to ride, the only issue around here is the limited parking, hate to come all this way and end up having to go somewhere else

  5. Thinking about heading out this way for a rip, have never been on the E106 going north, I see it is yellow up to Bancroft.....any suggestions for staging, places to see/stay away from. I don't need to hear anything about any BS restrictions so save your typing skills for positive replies only

    Thx

  6. Rode from Superior propane to Hali and back. Tried to go north of Hali the trails were beat to crap. The parking lot was full at 830am, must have passed at least 75 sleds if not more. Had three instances with people way over on my side of the trail at speed, dumbasses. For the most part the rail bed was decent, but they need snow badly

I got there just after nine. There were only 4-5 trailers. Like you said, it was packed when I got back.

We got there about the same time, we were parked parallel to the trail by the map sign

  8. I have the CKX Tranz 1.5 AMS, very happy with it, poor mans Mission if you will. I had a leak develop last year they gave me a new helmet, rode a few times this year and it works really well, haven't had it plugged in yet. I looked seriously at a Mission but this was half the price and I spend enough on this sport as it is:grin:

  9. Did the same ride today as well overall trails are pretty good as stated above, definitely need more snow. The parking lot was jammed full when we came back at noon
