Haliburton and KLSC are out grooming tonight. With the cold temps it should be good.
Thanks. Hope so. Pretty bumpy last two Saturdays.

Paul 09MXZ and I rode from Fenelon Falls to Whitney. Some bumpy spots, but not to bad. Took B106e thru Lk. St. Peter to the E 109 to the E to B103 back to Fenelon Falls. Total of 325 kms. The B106 was in great shape and fun to ride. From then on it was really rough. Groomer was heading south on the B103 from Haliburton and one was heading north from Fenelon. It was a good day.

Rode from superior lot up to Gooderham and local trails for majority of the day. Trails were decent for most part. Met groomer on way back. We needed shakedown run and some throttle Therapy so made the 4hr trek and battled some overheating issues w buddies doo!... all in all trails were pretty good. Felt great to get out.
Thanks for update.

Anybody go out today. Any trail condition updates. Especially from Fenelon Falls to Haliburton. Thanks.

Motorized snow Vehicles Act is what governs snowmobiling in Ontario.
This doesn't mean you can't get charged with Dangerous operation of snowmobile. They can find more charges if they want.
Stunt driving is under the highway traffic act.
Ok. Thanks.

Would you get charged with stunt driving if you were caught doing 50 kms over like you would in a car.

Myself and Paul 09MXZ rode 255 kms from Fenelon to Harcourt and back. Two hundred of those kms were very rough. What a workout. Lots of branches, small trees and tons of overhanging branches on E trail. Did a lot of ducking. Tried to help a guy put out his sled fire. Packed tons of snow on it , but just wouldn't go out. Man they burn up real good. Loaned another guy a spark plug wrench. It was still nice to get out but am I ever sore.

Left Haliburton aroun 3:30 and it was snowing.

Any info on how trails held up between Fenelon and Haliburton.

Did you guys get the rain. Will trails be available tomorrow. Thanks.

GET OUT OF HERE!!!!
I had the same damn thing happen to me! It was probably the same guy .. 3 houses in as you come out of the fenced trail line onto the street.
Sounds like the same place.

2012 a friend and I came up to Lindsay from Ganaraska and a resident in a Ford F150 jumped the curb to run us over. Luckily there were a string of concrete sleepers or else he would have done a number on us. Lindsay is not snowmobile friendly .... never supported any business since and never used their Toy Airport either. In another thread someone reported two ppl on a sled was whacking snowmobilers just north of Lindsay ...... I won't put it past residents from doing so based on my experience.
Bottom line is ..... don't go there and don't support their businesses.
The first time I took trail south of TB road into Lindsay an older man came after me with a broom. Couldn't believe it.

Is there anywhere to,park in Lindsey on the trail ?
thanks
You can park right on Thunder Bridge Rd. Trail is at end of road.

Thats f'n crazy. I did the same ride Sunday.

Rode from Lindsay to Haliburton today. Rail trail was great there and back. Covered in fresh powder.
Don't think they were groomed out of Lindsay. Two groomers heading north just past Kinmount. Put on 175 km.
