  1. You asked a question about shocks. So for my 22 Brp have cheapened up the shocks on a Renegade adrenaline. The 4 shocks that come on this sled are called HPG/high pressure gas. They are decent but are not rebuildable. In the previous years the Renegade adrenaline came with HPG "plus" in the front. They are rebuildable. The rears/skid are Hpg which are non-rebuildable. Hope this helps..

  2. Sand Lake is good and hard after the rain on Sunday and cold temps last night.Enough snow for slider lube, sled cooling. Swamps are well frozen.Lake Bernard at Sundridge  is good but not a lot of snow for cooling or slider lube. Trails are in great shape and groomed to perfection.

The 130 is a Turbo with no intercooler.

    Then the 900T-R @ 180hp.

    And the old 900T @ 150hp.

I believe the old 900T at 150hp is only offered in the expedition now,

You are correct  the 150 hp 900 turbo is only available in the utility sleds.

Wowsie. I heard some people are getting bogged down on lake and stuck. Been to ice caves recently or is that lake bad too?

Buddy of mine got his Thundercat stuck this week on Sand Lake. He had a hard time getting it out.Have not been to ice caves recently but i would think that lake that they are on is very slushy.

Almaguin trails are looking pretty mint on their FB page, miss those trails !

Trails were very good yesterday. Snowing right now in Kearney again.Lots of snow on lake with lots of slush. I've have been avoiding the lake. Drive down the road to trail. Buddy got his Thundercat stuck the other day on the lake.Guess it was quite a chore to get out.

  6. I would bet good money that pic is fake.Probably photo shopped. Pretty sure Doo has the most sales. The bean counters see no need for a hyper sled cause they are a small market.Anybody remember the last Mach Z fiasco. I think their butts are still hurting.

  7. Saw the Opp sitting in their vehicle at Patton road and Fisher lake road.I'am going to assume they were sitting there to catch guys on their sleds coming down the "d" trail which travels along Patton road. They never batted an eye when i drove by in my truck.

I guess, technically speaking,  trails are closed, so they are making sure people obide by the rules. But i agree it sucks, it really sucks. It would be nice if they showed more enforcement all the time, just not for these occasions that we are experiencing now. What a shame.

none of their business where you are going or where you are coming from.

I agree with you but you are on the wrong side of the badge. You better to be not a smart azz and answer the questions.Been there a couple of times the last few months.

Yes more presence during regular riding would be nice. Putting this much presence out there now makes me think it’s a quick cash grab. If the OPP has this much time available now then why do we see so little of them when trails are open?

They have been out every weekend since the trails have been open .They usually sit between Kearney and highway 11.They do a lot of radar by Fisher lake on the short road section. The Burks falls Opp have two trailers.  I knew they would be out our way cause i saw only one trailer at the station in Burksfalls when i drove by after picking some groceries. So if you want to see more OPP presence come to Kearney any weekend.

One of the guys in Kearney area said OPP told them there is no charge that can be laid for a snowmobiler with a valid pass riding on open OFSC trails.

If trails are yellow and green you are asked to follow the recommendation not to travel to ride but it is not a law that you can be charged for breaking.

So they were told or interpreted the conversation with an OPP officer.

Trails are marked RED on the Ofsc website so now the Opp can charge all the people on the trail with trespassing.

I see Kearny trails are all red now

With the Almaguin and Highland Rover trails marked red i'am sure the OPP will be sitting at trail heads/road crossings charging people with trespassing. They did this a couple of years ago if my memory serves me right when the trails closed early. They were sitting on Forest Tower Road right where the "D" trail north crosses it charging sledders..
