I am looking for the sled for my better half. So, she will ride trails only; moreover, i will be riding that sled time to time to entertain myself, (I do have doo 1200 4tec).

    basic requirements:

    easy to ride

    corner handling

    light

    good suspension

    wind protection

    quiet

    reliable

3 sleds are on the list at this point.

POlaris indi 850 with 137 track.

Polaris indi adventure 850 with 137 track.

SKidoo renegate 900  with 137 track.

I haven't ridden any of above; however, Polaris looks better but doo has 4 strock engine, that i like LOL.

So, what is your opinion, based on requirements (above).

    or

You are welcome to point me to the another sled as an alternative option.

I am at the research phase at this moment .

Lots of great advice here from really good people.  I am a Doo guy. Quiet sled .4 Stoke.  Only motor therefore is 900 or 600.   If 70 MPH is acceptable 600  is the one. Very  light on the steering hands down.  Warm enough cause it's a  wide body  and just get at least the medium windshield   if not a high one .  suspension well a Renegade  137. But at the end of the day   good luck on your Hunt

Honestly not sure of the exact location or name, my in laws live in Wiarton and and BIL operates trailer park at Red Bay and this was a topic if discussion a few years ago since they both are right in this backyard.

A few years back the water level rose so much at Sauble you couldn't drive on the Reservation side of the Beach   They lost a ton of revenue and I can only imagine the increases for the cottagers  were too cover those losses       we had heard in 2021 the increase was 50%     was always fun taking the Ragtop up and down the Beach      in the evening when no one was in the booth charging:icon_lolsign:     hopefully the that time will happen again

It has been a crazy year for real estate....no issues selling it seems - it also seems many of the cottages are sold with the intent for rental properties/income....

However I was referring to a few years ago when I heard the lease rates went way up in that area on the native lands and people were walking away before the cottage market took off.

Probably referring to Hope Bay area you are ?   Was a real Sh!!!t show there

My gut tells me that this is one of their biggest expenses.     I am sure that they pay some pretty big lease rates to the Band to park that trailer there.

Ya. What are the lease rates these days in Sauble ?

Isn't that hut on Res property?

I still am not following your truck ins thing?

Is there some other truck or ins line item for being parked or driven to the dam?

I've been there in my buddy's 'Burban and I'm purty sure that he didn't have anything special.

Who's buying anything special for this application?

    I don't git'cher train of thought here.

Insurance in this country has a license to print money  just tell them you are doing anything commercial   to make a buck and the target on  your back just gets way bigger
