  1. You can carry 4 quarts of oil under the seat of the Matryx, the other thing we’ve done on saddlebag trips when needing to carry more than that is put a gallon of oil in a knapsack and fasten  it between the gas caddy and a linq bag behind it. We are able to run the straps around the linq back then use Rox straps to tighten it all down. I’ll see if I can find a pic.

Highlander better tower than the Tacoma? Ski

It has the 8 speed transmission and I’d say yes, much more comfortable ridie. But totally different handling. No regrets switching

Haven't been up to Sudbury in several years but really enjoyed the trails. There use to be a small restaurant in

River Valley that had great food, wonder if it survived Covid shut downs? The trail to get there from Sudbury was

like a highway following the river

We ate there on Sunday such a nice little place great food

I put the "treks" on and they work good but they dont like reverse. Grabs hard and track spins. Did u find that as well?  I have a set of the adventures here too that i should try but the only reason i put the treks on was difficulty putting the adventures on after my sub par drilling and measuring install on the skis.

exact same thing I found with mine, reverse is near next to impossible with the Trek's, I am switching mine to the 8 inch carbide Adventures for our New Brunswick trip and see how it goes.

  5. We rode those trails as well on Sunday had a great day with friends and family. Roads were getting bad and corners icy. We saw the deer as well, was fresh when we passed it. Was great to finally get out for a ride in Muskoka.
Sudbury bound later this week then our big New Brunswick trip the following week.
thanks to all those clubs for their hard work

My vote is for the triton tc167. Only 7 wide so not catching tons of air and will fit two sleds of any size. Super lite. Pull behind sport Ute easily. Might be exspensive but you’ll probably never have to buy another one unless you get into hauling 3 or 4 sleds

    X2, amazing trailer for sure

Nunz, I hope the trails recover by then. A friend who lives in Azilda said they lost a ton of snow Tuesday and Wednesday, and also didn't get as much so last night as was forecast. Maybe Soup and other locals could comment. I assume the closing of the entire STP was preventative since it was done Tuesday PM when some trails were still good.

Thanks, I have been chatting with him, hoping for the best week, if not we will head further north.
