I read your profile on their. Great job. I started on a 1976 Polaris tx 250. That thing would do 70 mph as it was a starfire series with oval brake loop. Steel cleated bars on tack too. My dad had a Polaris tx 440, with dual exhaust pipes. That thing was a blast when I was a kid. Too bad it rusted out.
Some day,  I be back on a Polaris sled I know that. Summer sucks party a go this year?

Still mulling over Summer Sucks party, It may happen but on a much smaller scale for sure, Last thing I need is the neighbors freaking out with a pile of trucks on the street.

Question for you guys that are dealers - or know how they work.

When a dealer is invoiced for a unit - I assume that means it's built - has a VIN etc.

Once that happens - what follows?

Is it built - Shipped to dist. warehouse - dist. invoices dealer - then delivered?

    Just curious ......

One they are invoiced and has a VIN number it means the unit is built but in their computer it should show them either in transit or at the factory. At that point the unit is on their floor plan.

xLI have an excellent condition no rips or tears. The jacket could use a cleaning as its off white color,  polaris leather snowmobile suit.  Not sure what its worth, but thought I would try this site and see what response I get before I try kijji.

I know what I paid for it long time ago, whats it worth?  I'm open to discussions or opinions......lol

I do live near windsor Ontario,  but frequently head up to our cottage near Kearney.

    Jacket is size XL

    Pants are tall Large

I'm 6'2...250 lbs and its snug on me now.  Lol

I'm prolly 25 lbs heavier when I first purchased it.

Awesome suit, I would totally buy it if it were in my size, you will have no problem selling it, The is a few Vintage Polaris sites on FB as well.

  4. We stopped in at the Legion one day and grabbed a burger as always food was excellent, this past season we went to the fish shack in Dorset a couple times and it was great. My advice and I was really surprised more restaurants didn’t have a fire going outside with some music. Summerland General store did and I believe they had a great season the times we stopped in.

Where is best place to stay in Kap? Super 8?

We are thinking for next weekend - 19-21.

I’ve stayed at the Super 8 and it’s nice but recently stayed at the Advantage and more of a motel style and you can park right outside your room and papa Franco’s next door plus it’s a bit cheaper to stay there.

They are essentially waterproof. If packing gear, clothes etc, we typically put everything in large, good quality zip lock bags, and then put them in the linq bags. We also take everything in the rooms..

    Same for us

I have been looking at Polaris line up too. That new guage is amazing. Would you order 850 again? Had an xcr when I was younger, and it was most fun, I had on a Polaris snowmobile too. We had it for 14500 miles before it was sold. I like 128 since I already already have 136. Star fire series is darn cool. Too bad racing loop is missing on brake side handle bar,  loved that feature before on 1976.

Love the power of the 850 for sure. Thinking of trying the 650 for Karen next season. Here’s a pick of what I’m thinking for myself.

ill go 4 stroke within the next two sleds but in reality where i do the majority of my riding. i just cant see the advantages of the 900 turbo.

I would probably would have sold it immediately after riding the goat path Trail 3 on the east side of 11 after the highway bridge.

Heh heh heh, I actually like trail 3 to the B trail, remember that trail is groomed with a sled and a drag. The guys have worked hard this season On it.

Last week while out I made a stop at the Long House Grill. It's on the north side of Muskoka Rd. 38 between the 400 and Bala. I have seen it advertised on Barrie News and promoting fish & chips. Heading north C trail comes out of the power lines and runsalong side Rd. 38 heading east for a short distance and then back into the trees. Just before you get to 38 there is a new sign and a small trail that takes you west a short distance and comes out at 38 directly across from The Long House Grill and Liquidation Nation. They have a teepee out front. They have even groomed from the shoulder of the road into their parking lot.

I had a $12 burger and fries that were quite good. It was worth the stop. I'll be going back when dine in is available to try the fish & chips. It's nice to have a new option in the area. Especially one that doesn't require road rash other than crossing the road.

We stopped in there a couple of weeks ago as well, nice little place, good service and good food.

  10. I think they did a great job with the 2022's, they are moving in the right direction for sure. Decisons Decisons.. But I am really liking the XCR 136 for sure.

Was great to see the Team Ontario Ambassador's getting a shout out.

Wowsie. I heard some people are getting bogged down on lake and stuck. Been to ice caves recently or is that lake bad too?

I was at the Ice Caves on Friday, as long as you stay on the well travelled route you will should be ok. We played around in the deep snow off to the sides but dont let off on the throttle.

Does anyone know if the L138 in Kap that is showing red is passable??  I planned on staying at the Super 8 that is at the end of that trail.  Also any suggestions for other places to stay that they prefer over the super 8?

We stayed at the Advantage this year and are booked in there for next weekend. It was a favourite of Sledjunk for years and I can see why, nice and simple, very affordable and great location.

Oh im sure its fine, Id like to try it as well

I rode the D102B on sunday from 51to around to the D103B just above Baysville. Holy crap. I hit one bump that sounded like it tore off the bottom of my sled.  No way could you do a heavier in the front 4 stroke and be happy. Im sure in Quebec or up north they are good.

lol, I know the same bump you are talking about, Spine rattler.. lol
