I did my own heated seat on a recommendations by sledjunk (rip) and love it.
Bought the element off Amazon and installed it myself, easy peasy.

Need to put a set of mirrors on my 2017 Axys and can only find the Polaris ones that bolt onto the hood.I am told by some that if your a taller rider these mirrors get blocked by the handlebar and the brake and throttle controls. Anyone else find a better aftermarket mirror for these sleds? Thanks in advance.
I've had no issues seeing behind me and I'm 6'2.

Believe it or not the titan is a very good trail sled.
I had the opportunity to spend seat time on one and would seriously consider it as a sled for me.
With the 800 in them they go as well, it will do 90 mph all day long.

Never been an issue for us.
We sometimes need heavy equipment type companies to build and maintain trails.
Preference is given, to landowners, volunteers, etc, but it's still done as an RFQ.
Operators, machines and material are not always free. Sometimes we get lucky though.
We get treated very well when we must hire the above.
As much as we can, volunteers with volunteered equipment is used, free of charge, including even fuel.
Our books are open to any club member, the district and the OFSC.
An audit would find nothing untoward.
It not the audit it's the public perception.

I'm not insinuating that any members here that are on club boards are lining their pockets. I've had 2 stints on the Paudash board, back in the 80s/90s & more recently 6 years & have stepped back.
A person would have to be deaf to not hear the chatter about the sport while out & about. Trust me I've heard some pretty ridiculous comments from non-sledders (and ill-informed sledders) that have no idea of how things are run. This is how the 'over the fence' BS gets spread.
I know there have been some changes in the past year that pretty much eliminates most board positions @ the club level. If I'm wrong would someone correct me?
There are certain positions that must be filled as per OFSC for the club to exist, just cant remember all of them.

Looks like someone that is new on the ofsc is going by the book. He said that it could be a conflict. The pres can say how much they get paid and how much they can groom. I agree with Nutter that when the dist is desiding on pay on payed posetions that the pres of the club has no vote. So the Dist sets the pay amount and the club groomer cordinator organizes the grooming. so what is the problem
The president of the club should be a sitting member of the district board.

Unless Ontario not for profit corp laws have changed in the past few weeks, a club president or anyone that sits on a club or district board can be paid to groom, or paid for any other agreed upon paid position. Though they must remove themselves from the table during any and all discussions and decision making regarding paid positions.
It caused quite the kerfuffle in D12 a few years ago, presidents of clubs who groomed where given a choice, groom or president, many quit to groom.

So your saying if the President of a OFSC Snowmobile Club, is out grooming, the club will not be paid for those grooming hours done by the President of that club?
I think it the president will not be paid.
