Sounds promising if club can keep sledders on trail by regular grooming. That will be a high traffic trail no doubt and if it gets rough, riders will wonder off trail again.
It will get groomed on a regular basis.
We now have a groomer parked a RD to keep the area in tip top shape

That would be nice. Now don’t have to trailer to STP from the hotel . We often wondered if there was a trail there before .
There was but it got shut down by a land owner.
That same land owner has now said yes but it required a relocation of a section of trail.

And to think of the days in Sudbury when trailing was not needed.....
We have less than a foot of snow on the ground right now and what we have is light and fluffy.

And it continues.

Hi, I’m new to the group. One of my buddies recently put his sled through the ice. It’s sitting in about 20ft of water. Looking for someone who does snowmobile recoveries.

I can tell most of you are old and forget what it was like to be young and full of piss and vinegar. Young men have been making bad decisions since the beginning of time and will continue to do so. I know I have made a few in my youth and if you guys can remember back to when you were 24 I bet you made some stupid decisions as well. Me and you got lucky and we just have a story.
To the people cracking jokes about a young man dyeing in a sled wreck, well, not much I can say here that will do much good for you. Pathetic.
Got engaged !! At 23

Thanks for the report Soup. I count on the information gleaned from this forum. Since I joined this forum there is no one's info that has more positively influenced my trip decision making. Five or six successful group trips out of the Sudbury area over the past three years have happened because we listened to your reports. Also went to other destinations when you advised against Suds. Keep the faith. Keep the reports coming and the best to you in 2021.
Thanks

Watching those leaf sprung machines bash through the moguled bush trail @ 14:20 brings back memories.

Did the online map or the old app have an option that showed how many kilometres of trail were open? I vaguely remember the new distance of trails open each day. Great for the start of the season. Exciting to watch the number grow when you’re itching to get out. Anyone recall this feature?
It did and still does on both versions

I noticed they closed down most of trails in north now. A few km’s left around Cochrane. Not much choice in flex trails in north now.
No snow in the north.
I'm in sudbury and we are lucky to have a couple inches
